Earth Buddys are part of new technology that uses plant starches and oils as a replacement for traditional petroleum based plastics.
The resources they are made from, in this product vegetable oils, are renewable and once used, breakdown and become part of the soil once again.

We've made them light green so that gardeners can quickly see which pots are compostable and which are made of 'plastic'. They have similar properties to plastics, are flexible, look like normal pots BUT with one wonderful difference - they will not take years to degrade in landfill sites. Just pop them into the compost bin and they will breakdown within 6 months and then you can use them as part of the compost to improve your garden soil.
